With a new year comes new interior trends. We have immersed ourselves in materials, colours, shapes and much more. In this blog we list everything for you. This way you can never do it wrong in 2023 and the trends are completely Room108-proof!
NATURAL NATURE
The 'nature' is one of the 2023 interior trends. Creating a relaxed atmosphere and sustainability are central. Use natural colors such as brown and green in this trend. Brown earth tones give a feeling of warmth and security, green tones that of liveliness and harmony. Match the accent colors together with beige for the ultimate natural effect. Use materials such as wood, natural stone and beautiful, sturdy fabrics or cotton and linen. But you will also often see sustainable materials again in 2023, such as bamboo and cork. Complete the whole thing with houseplants (or artificial plants if you don't have a green thumb) and bring the outdoors inside! One of our own newest styles is NaturalNature, completely in line with the natural trend.

NEUTRAL BASIC
Looking for a quiet base? This neutral trend will certainly remain in 2023! The base is beige and it is combined with grey, brown, green brown and taupe. White walls are not included! Go for ton-sur-ton or one accent colour, less is more! Materials that we see more often are soft fabrics such as bouclé and velvet, natural materials such as wood types in warm colors and both organic and sleek shapes. With this nice trend you create a safe haven where you can relax, also slow living called.

ORGANIC
This trend also does not disappear with the new year and is certainly one keeper! You can see the organic shapes in various items, from the sofa and armchair to an accessory or rug. Be amazed by the curvy form! Sofas with a round finish soften your interior and give it an airy feeling. Or think of a high-pile round rug for a fluffy effect or a vase in a special shape. Organic shapes often provide an eye-catcher in your interior and who wouldn't want that?! To emphasize the organic trend of the 2023 interior trends, use smooth, mixed and soft materials in combination with natural tones and warm woods, or choose colors and fabrics with a retro touch.

FEELING BLUE
Calming blue is one of the trend colors of 2023. All kinds of different shades of blue are used: cobalt blue, pastel blue, ice blue, night blue and turquoise. Together with white, this gives a fresh combination and fits perfectly with a sleek and hip interior. You can let the blue come back on your wall or in accessories such as a rug or decorative pillows. Do you want to make this trend a little more daring? Then choose a cool blue sofa or armchair, this is immediately striking eye-catcher in your living room!

70'S AND FUN
The 70's are all the way back in the 2023 interior trends! With the retro 70's trend you make a statement in your interior. Materials such as smoked glass, leather and warm woods are certainly part of this. But also fake fur, coarsely woven fabrics and brass or chrome can be seen in the 70's style! Special organic designs and round shapes complete the living style. Absolutely matching is this with the fabulous trend, which uses prints and striking colors. Create one fun interior by mixing and matching! Colors that match this trend for 2023 are, for example, old pink, moss green, lilac, soft yellow and orange. By choosing a base in pastel shades and combining it with a few bold accent colors, the so-called pop of color, keep it all quiet. With the 70's and fabulous atmospheres in your home you ensure a cheerful but attractive interior!
