We take a look inside the home of Linda, her husband and two children aged 6 and 8. The family has lived in their beautifully renovated home for 3.5 years, which used to be dark and brown. After a major renovation, the house has now become a light and modern home.

MINIMALIST INTERIOR WITH A HOTEL CHIC TWIST
“We completely stripped the house,” says Linda. “By breaking down walls and opening up the space, we created more light and space.” Linda has decorated her interior according to a mix of hotel chic and minimalism. “I like a tidy house, with as little stuff as possible,” she says. “That creates peace and harmony.” The minimalism is expressed in the calm colors and thoughtful choices in furniture and accessories.

INSTAGRAM AS INSPIRATION
Due to the many questions from friends and family about the renovation, Linda quickly decided to open an Instagram account to share the process. “I was flooded with questions and everyone could easily follow it via Instagram,” she explains. She soon gained, to her, unknown followers who also started following her renovation and interior. “From the moment I shared photos of our pivot doors, my account really grew explosively,” Linda says with a smile. Followers now also send her photos of their own interior, indicating that they have bought furniture or accessories that they saw at Linda's home. “That's what I really like the most. To be able to inspire others.”
COLLABORATION WITH ROOM108
Room108 had been on Linda's radar for a while. When we announced that we were looking for collaborations, Linda responded immediately. "We quickly got in touch about a new dining table and dining chairs," says Linda. She already had a good idea of what she wanted: "I already knew I wanted a gray/brown table with light chairs." When looking at the website and social media, she quickly came across the dining table Montpellier against, which she immediately found very beautiful. “You advised to combine this table with dining room chair Milo, and when I saw that, I was really excited.”
After visiting the showroom in Villa ArenA in Amsterdam, the choice was quickly made. “The shop was so beautiful, with all kinds of decorations. We walked around the shop for two hours to look at everything properly. It was such a nice, open welcome.” The choice fell on the Montpellier dining table with a Danish oval top (facet finish – 4 cm thick) in the colour Espresso and with the black tapered spider leg, combined with the dining chairs Milo in the fabric colour oasis Natural 01. Linda is very happy with it. “The dining table has really become my place when I work from home and the children color and craft there,” she says laughing. “Of course with a rug underneath.”
THE HEART OF THE HOUSE
The new dining table and chairs have become the heart of the home. “We use the dining room much more than the living room now,” says Linda. “The chairs are lovely and the space is light and open, perfect for socializing with friends and family.”
Linda is now only looking for a light sofa to bring the living room in harmony with the dining room. We are curious to see how her interior develops further! You too? Then definitely take a look at her Instagram account: @stulpjeopdeveluwe.
