We are allowed to look inside the atmospheric home of TikTokker Carmen and Joey in Heerhugowaard. Carmen and Joey live together in the beautiful house, but not for long because there's a daughter on the way!

SUCCESSFUL TIKTOK ACCOUNT

Maybe you know Carmen from TikTok! ''During the corona period I started to create a TikTok account. I post a lot of videos about acting, presenting and also mainly share my own life. My account grew quickly and within three months I already had ten thousand followers.'' Meanwhile, Carmen has been on TikTok for 3.5 years and she still enjoys it! ''I started my own business through TikTok. I offer various workshops and TikTok dance parties to children."

CREATING A HOMELY ATMOSPHERE

Joey and Carmen have only recently moved into the house. ''We have been living here since May. We previously lived in Amsterdam, but we wanted a more homely and cozy house. The aim was also to create more tranquility in the new interior, as we previously had a completely different home decorating style. We always called it an Urban Jungle,” Carmen laughs. "I would now describe our living style as homely, modern and warm." We think that certainly worked out well!

"JOEY HAS NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY WITH A SOFA"

''We accidentally walked into the Room108 store in Amsterdam. We came in and our eyes immediately fell on Corner sofa Joelle. For both of us, the sofa was the most important element in our living room. We have adapted our entire interior to the sofa. Therefore the store employee was very helpful in finding the right fabric and color as we wanted a neutral color," Carmen says. Ultimately Carmen and Joey opted for the fabric Guard Natural 01.

''We are both very satisfied with the sofa. Joey has never been so happy with a sofa,” Carmen laughs. ''Joey is very tall and that's why corner sofa Joëlle is the perfect choice! Now we can lie down on the sofa together," Carmen says. "The sofa is also our favorite place in the living room where we can both relax and end the day together."
