We are visiting Remco and Debbie. Together with their two young children, they have been living in a new-build home in Teteringen since December 2022.

Two years ago, Remco and Debbie decided it was time for the next step. They had their eyes on a new construction project on the outskirts of 'their' city Breda and saw the progress of their new home every day. “We felt it took a very long time. Normally you might see more progress, but we passed by it every day so we've seen almost every brick being laid. Then a year takes quite a long time,” says Debbie, now with a smile on her face. A justified smile, because they can absolutely be proud of their beautiful home. “We consciously opted for a new-build home,” Remco explains. “It is a little easier to get in during this difficult time, there are fewer rivals in the field. And you don't have to take the layout and design of previous residents into account. We were able to build something from scratch.”
Realize interior plans
The two had an interior architect make a plan that also included doors, lighting and interior. For the realization of the interior they ended up at Room108 Eindhoven. “In a store you see everything come together, which is really different from what you see on the internet,” says Remco. “In the end, we were very successful there and bought a carpet, corner sofa, loveseat and our accessories”.
Corner sofa and loveseat
In the couple's living room corner sofa Cloë in Alpine Natural 01 and loveseat Adele in Juke Khaki 51 are showing off. And despite the fact that they are very satisfied with corner sofa Cloë, the round loveseat may be used even more often. “From the loveseat you get to see the whole house and you can comfortably sit on it together. For example, the children are often playing there and then it is just as nice to sit down with them,” Debbie says enthusiastically.
Remco and Debbie were already familiar with Room108. Several family members had bought a Room108 sofa and they were all satisfied. “I really wanted a sofa upholstered with a teddy fabric and it shouldn't be too stiff. A sofa that you can plop down on and is yet still comfortable. In addition, a deep seat because we are both quite tall”, Debbie explains. So it became corner sofa Cloë. “We receive a lot of compliments and are still very pleased with our purchases. It has really become our home.” And we understand that all too well!
