We are taking a look inside the home of Ilse and her boyfriend Jesse, they have been living together in Vlijmen since July 2022.
Natural, elegant home
We step inside the natural, elegant home of Ilse and her boyfriend Jesse. The interior is chic, modern with earthy tones. We are immediately impressed! In the beautiful living room Room108 corner sofa Annabelle is the centre of attention.
Major renovation
Ilse tells us that the house has been renovated for 9 months before they moved in. “The entire interior of the house has changed considerably. Walls were broken down, spaces swapped and so on. We did everything ourselves with the help of family and friends!” The house is truly beautiful and it almost seems to be new-built. Everything matches and the color combination is right.
“Ever since I can remember, I've been doing interior design. I regularly changed my bedroom and the drawings from when I was young were often floor plans of houses and interiors,” Ilse shares enthusiastically. “This passion has never left and I enjoy styling our home. The fact that Jesse and I have the same taste means that a choice is often made quickly with us. And it's all the more fun that this allows me to let my ideas run free, in which Jesse often let's me do what I want, with every now and then the brakes on if necessary 😉.” Ilse sometimes gets inspiration from Instagram, but most of it comes from her own vision. She herself also has a cool Instagram page of their house where she regularly shares beautiful photos: @interior.elf.
Corner sofa Annabelle
Ilse's favorite item in the house, in addition to the wallpaper and accessories that finish the interior, is without a doubt Room108 corner sofa Annabelle. They bought this at Whoon in Oisterwijk. “The first time we came to Whoon, we saw this corner sofa in the showroom. We then looked no further as it was exactly what we were looking for," says Ilse. “It's not just the beautiful looks of the sofa, its comfort is perfect as well. What is also very nice is that you can use it in many different ways thanks to the Annabelle hocker, which we bought separately, and easily change the setup.” Here, the Annabelle sofa is upholstered with the Mine Shell 196 fabric, a perfect match with the earthy tones in the house. “It is a versatile color which very easily matches with basically everything”, Ilse confirms as well.
When asked whether there are any special wishes for the future, Ilse responds as follows: “I think you're never really done in a house, at least in my case. Everyone around me will also agree when I say that I wouldn't be my normal self if I didn't come up with a new plan next month. Is one thing done, then something new will come to my mind, sometimes even to the point that it becomes annoying! But apart from this peculiarity of mine, we are more than happy with what we now have managed to make of our first home!”
