We are taking a peek inside Ilse's bright, eclectic home. She lives with her husband and two children in Son en Breugel. Modular sofa Bibi is the centerpiece of the cool interior.
A QUIET BASE WITH STRIKING DETAILS
As soon as we enter Ilse's home we are immediately impressed. The house has nice corners with cool details. “We have been living here for almost 4 years now,” Ilse says. “We bought the house as a new-build home and are therefore the first residents. This allowed us to decorate and put everything together ourselves!” It is certainly clear that good choices have been made. Ilse continues enthusiastically: “I like to work on the interior and I like to do this myself. Although I sometimes find it difficult to make the right choices. We don't move much in terms of basics, only the accessories change every now and then.” Ilse gets her inspiration from television programs and interior design accounts on Instagram, among other things. We absolutely love the colorful composition and yet peaceful atmosphere in the house!
THE SEARCH FOR THE PERFECT MODULAR SOFA
The modular sofa Bibi is Ilse's favorite item (along with the long dining table for dining with friends) Ilse's favorite item, which we completely understand! “The sofa is exactly what we were looking for, the search was not easy and we received perfect help in the store,” she says. “My brother had bought a sofa at Room108 Eindhoven, which is why we also came here to take a look. We received great help from Yenthe, but we just didn't find what we were looking for. She did indicate that a modular sofa would be added to the collection. After six months we received a call from Yenthe, the perfect sofa for us would soon be on display in the showroom. We were still searching and then went to the store in Eindhoven. Together with Yenthe we customized the Bibi sofa and we are very satisfied with it!” What a nice story and great service! Ilse and her husband opted for the fabric Lund Lightgray, a perfect match.
FAVORITE LOUNGE AND SEATING AREAS
When asked whether she likes the sofa, Ilse responds as follows: “We have had the sofa since November and we like it very much! It really is a lounge sofa and the possibilities are enormous due to the separate elements and different corners. Our son sometimes puts the hockers against the seats to chill stretched out with friends!” Ilse's favorite spot is the seat by the back door, which catches the sun nicely in the morning. Ideal for having a nice cup of coffee there and start the day quietly. “So far we haven't changed much in the arrangement of the elements, maybe someday I'll want to move an element to the corner where the purple armchair is now. Other than that, I don't have many other wishes for our home, because it is new-build, everything is as desired. The only thing might be another TV cabinet!”
