We are allowed to peek inside Ola's beautiful and bright classy home in Tilburg. She has been living here for a while now, together with her boyfriend Mike.
RENOVATING A DREAM HOUSE
Ola tells that after buying the house in June 2022, they first renovated for six months. The renovation was only completed in November 2022 and then they moved in. “My boyfriend, father-in-law and family renovated everything. An extension with skylight was built at the back of the kitchen, bringing in a lot of light into the house. Actually, we tackled every corner of the house. From the kitchen and bathroom to the attic and pantry!”
STYLING THE HOUSE
Ola did the styling of the house all by herself. She would describe her style as cozy, modern and eclectic. That Ola has a good sense of style didn't go unnoticed by people around her. “At work, colleagues regularly ask if I would like to style their house. Of course I am very happy to help them with it!”
BIG SOFA, YET NICELY COMPACT
Ola and her boyfriend Mike see the sofa as a must have in the house. “My boyfriend lets me do all the styling and furnishing, but he did want to participate in deciding on the sofa.” They bought the sofa at Whoon in Oisterwijk and are very enthusiastic about this. “We have been helped very well. They really took the time for us. Half the store was rearranged sot he right choices could be made.” They opted for corner sofa Noelle upholstered with fabric MineShell. “The sofa is super comfortable. I am very small, and because the seating areas can be ordered in different dimensions, we were able to find the perfect size! Furthermore, we wanted a lounge area where we could lie together and we have that now too. That spot is well used by both of us. We lie in that corner together every evening, it's wonderful!” Ola and Mike have had the sofa for 7 months now and the couple are really happy with it. “If you were to ask me now if I would want another sofa, I would still go for this one. And Noëlle is timeless in this color.” Ola is not the only one who would make this choice (again). “My mom wants the sofa as well! She thinks it looks big, yet compact. This makes it easy to use the sofa with a large group. And that's ideal.”
